Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba

Is a Japanese Shonen manga series written and drawn by Koyoharu Gotōge which ran from February 2016 to May 2020 with 205 chapters as of October 2020 over 100 million copies have been sold both physically and digitally, the manga series practically outsold the entire western comic book industry, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba got an anime adaptation by studio Ufotable in April 2019 with a Movie released October 2020 in Japan, the anime adaptation is currently 26 episodes long covering the first seven volumes of the manga with a second season announced for sometime in 2021.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba takes place in Taishō era japan, a kind-hearted boy by the name of Tanjiro Kamado makes his living selling charcoal in the mountains. But his life is shattered when his family is slaughtered by a demon. His younger sister Nezuko being the only survivor of the slaughter, but she has been turned into a demon herself.

Tanjiro sets out on a dangerous journey to destroy the demon that killed his family while trying to find a way to turn his sister back to normal.
